Toxicity:

Acute oral LD50 for rat: 140 a.i.mg/kg. Acute dermal LD50 for rat:127 a.i.mg/kg. Inhalation LC50 (4 h) for rat: 0.044 a.i. mg/L. Irritating to eyes (rabbit).Irritant to skin and mucous membranes. Sensitization possible through skin contact. NOEL: (2 y) for dogs is 4 mg/kg diet.

 

Application: Fentin acetate is a non-systemic fungicide with mainly protective action, but also some curative action. Also acts as an algicide and molluscidide. Control of early and late blights of potatoes, leaf spot diseases of sugar beet, anthracnose of beans.
